TREE TRIMMING & PRUNING

Pruning is necessary to maintain safety, improve tree structure and health, and make the tree aesthetically pleasing with the proper structure and form.  Young trees should be pruned often to encourage a strong central leader and discourage co-dominant stems and included bark defects.  Pruning young trees will reduce the need for corrective pruning as they mature.  Some tree species and individual trees will require more pruning than others. Mature landscape trees are pruned for a variety of reasons including to provide clearance from buildings, reduce the risk of failure near a structure, to allow sunlight to penetrate the crown, increase air movement throughout the canopy, and removing dead, dying, or diseased branches.​Allow our certified arborist to assist you with expert tree pruning, since improper pruning cuts will cause damage that remains for the life of the tree and affect its future growth.

We offer free delivery of woodchips and logs for your landscaping needs - truckload quantity only. Organic mulching is one of the most beneficial practices that can be done for the health of a tree: ​1. helps maintain moisture 2. reduces competition from weeds and turf grass 3. releases essential nutrients 4. improves soil structure.
